The deal for using Rally.
Effective 10 July 2026 · Rally for iOS
These terms are an agreement between you and Astav Technologies Private Limited for use of the Rally app. By creating an account or using Rally, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Rally.
1. The service
Rally lets you create shared lists with friends, where each item is tied to a place, and members can add and check off items and see a history of activity. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Rally. You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, and let us know at rajat@astav.tech if you suspect unauthorised use. You must be at least 13 years old to use Rally.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the lists, plans, notes and places you create (“your content”). You grant Astav a limited licence to store, display and sync your content to the other members of the lists you share it in, solely to operate Rally. You’re responsible for the content you add and for having the right to share it.
4. Acceptable use
Rally is for planning things with people you invite. You agree not to use it to:
- post content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, threatening, or invasive of others’ privacy;
- harass, abuse, or harm another person, including other members of a list;
- send spam, or attempt to access accounts, data, or lists that aren’t yours;
- probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to break the law.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You can report content or a member by emailing rajat@astav.tech, and you can remove yourself from any list at any time. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we aim to act on valid reports within 24 hours.
5. Shared lists and invites
Lists are shared with the members who join using an invite code. You choose who you invite. A list has a limited number of members. When you leave a list you lose access to it; when the last member leaves, the list and its history are deleted and can’t be recovered.
6. Third-party services
Rally uses Google Maps Platform for place search and maps; your use of those features is also subject to Google’s terms. Rally is distributed through Apple’s App Store, and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app in addition to these terms.
7. Availability and “as is”
Rally is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be preserved. Rally is a planning aid, not a source of authoritative location data.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astav will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of Rally.
9. Termination
You can stop using Rally and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; when we do, we’ll revise the effective date above. Continuing to use Rally after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
